Eva Fidjeland Art

Eva Fidjeland was born in Stockholm 1955. She grew up in Portugal, Lebanon, Afghanistan and Iran,

learned how to make stained glassd windows in the artists´ village Ein Hod in Israel,

and finally settlled in Sweden´s Kingdom of Glass 1987. http://swedish-glassart.crevado.com

Eva Fidjeland has participated in a great number of exhibitions and carried out commisioned work for private and public buildings -

on Tasmania, for example. In 1990 she was appointed by the Vasa Museum to reconstruct glass parts for the Vasa Ship.

During the past decade she has been creating digital art, mostly, in a quaint combination with photography.

Eva Fidjeland is also a poet. She has published two books of poetry: Metamprphosis, 2007 and Astarte´s Belly, 2009.
